New head of Cinematography Agency appointed

Shukhrat Rizayev, who has worked as the agency’s deputy director since 2017, has been appointed to the position of the new director of the Cinematography Agency.

In this post, he replaced Firdavs Abdukhalikov, who was appointed director of the Center for Islamic Civilization.

Shukhrat Rizayev was born on July 10, 1958 in Tashkent. He graduated from the Faculty of Philology of the National University of Uzbekistan. He worked in the Ministry of Culture and Sports, the Oybek Museum, the Office of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers, the Academy of State and Social Construction.

In 2017, by presidential decree, he was awarded the Order of Friendship. In 2021, he received the honorary title “Honored Youth Trainer of Uzbekistan”.
