Illegal use of natural gas worth 590 million soums detected in Tashkent

In the Yunusabad district of Tashkent, a greenhouse was discovered that illegally used gas worth 590.7 million soums, the PGO Department for Combating Economic Crimes reports.

The Yunusabad district PGO department, together with employees of “Khududgaz Poytakht”, carried out a pre-investigation check.

It was established that citizen Sh.B. and other persons secretly connected a greenhouse created for commercial purposes in the Hasanboy mahalla to the public gas network using a rubber hose, and plundered the natural gas on a large scale.

A criminal case has been opened on this fact under Article 169 of the Criminal Code (Theft), and investigative actions are being carried out.
