Poultry enterprises exempted from land tax for 5 years

On June 25, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with proposals for development of livestock industries.

80% of poultry genetics in the world market belongs to the US company. Therefore, it is planned to introduce genetic technologies in poultry farming and establish breeding farms in cooperation with them.

Proposals for introducing a cluster system in poultry farming, making ready-made business projects and giving them to entrepreneurs were also discussed.

Additional opportunities to support industry development have been identified. According to it, poultry enterprises will be exempted from land tax for 5 years. Export of poultry meat is allowed. The return period of $35 million of cheap resources given to entrepreneurs will be extended for 3 years.

The head of state also gave orders to expand the stock of fodder and deliver it to poultry farms in a centralized manner.
