Uzbekistan's fruit and vegetable exports contribute 3.9% to total exports in 2024
Uzbekistan exported 722.1 thousand tons of fruits and vegetables, valued at $420.1 million, to foreign countries in January-May 2024.
According to the Statistics Agency, the export indicator increased by 10.4% or 68.3 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.
The main export markets for fruit and vegetable products were Russia (32.7%), Pakistan (19.7%), Kazakhstan (15.3%), and China (7.8%).
During the reporting period, the export of fruits and vegetables contributed 3.9% to the total export volume.
