Prosecutor General's Office reports major electricity theft in Namangan region
In the Naryn district of the Namangan region, the head of a limited liability company (LLC) illegally consumed 2,128,000 kWh of electricity, according to the PGO press service.

It was found that the unofficial head of LLC "B.M.F.", Sh.U., illegally connected the brick production workshop equipment to the public network and misappropriated electricity worth 2.3 billion UZS.
Regarding this incident, a criminal case has been initiated against Sh.U. under clause "a", part 4 of Article 169 of the Criminal Code (theft committed on an especially large scale).
The suspect has been detained according to procedural regulations.
