Abdulla Aripov and Otabek Umarov meet with Ramzan Kadyrov at Grozny Forum
On July 16, Uzbekistan's Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia Otabek Umarov met with the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, during the Caucasus Investment Forum held in Grozny, Chechnya.

Kadyrov wrote on his Telegram channel that during the conversation, key issues of regional cooperation in various sectors and the development of strategic partnership relations were discussed.
In his post, he referred to the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as a "respected elder brother" and expressed gratitude for the heartfelt wishes sent.
"In Chechnya, we highly value our close fraternal relations with Uzbekistan and strive to further strengthen these ties.
Abdulla Aripov conveyed sincere wishes from our respected elder brother, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. I expressed my gratitude to Shavkat Mirziyoyev for the warm wishes. The Prime Minister noted that the recent visit by the President of the Russian Federation opened a new chapter in Russia-Uzbekistan relations.
Undoubtedly, Uzbekistan is a state with a rich spiritual and cultural heritage. We highly appreciate the steps taken by the leadership of our fraternal country to expand cultural, business, and economic relations.
I am confident that the Caucasus Investment Forum will open completely new opportunities for the development of our regions' economies," wrote Ramzan Kadyrov.
Following the event, the head of Chechnya saw off the high-ranking guests at Grozny International Airport.
For information, on July 15, the Caucasus Investment Forum began in Grozny, at the Chechen leader's residence and the Stroykar Pavilion exhibition center.
Within the framework of the forum's main exhibition, investment projects from the republics of Dagestan, Chechnya, Ingushetia, North Ossetia–Alania, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, Stavropol Krai, as well as the republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, are being presented. The expositions of the republics and companies of the North Caucasus Federal District aim to showcase the investment and economic potential of the region, the achievements in key areas of development, and serve as a platform for establishing business contacts and finding partners.
