Educational Migration: 19,500 citizens of Uzbekistan pursue education abroad in H1 2024
According to the Statistics Agency, 19,500 citizens of Uzbekistan went abroad for educational purposes during January-June 2024.
The number of citizens of Uzbekistan who went abroad for education from January to June of this year by country:
- Tajikistan: 10,122
- Russia: 2,905
- Kyrgyz Republic: 2,022
- Turkey: 1,020
- South Korea: 948
- Kazakhstan: 764
- United Kingdom: 363
- China: 320
- Germany: 190
- USA: 166
