Passenger on Tashkent-Delhi flight caught with 4 gold ingots worth 100 million UZS
Gold smuggling attempt has been foiled at Tashkent Airport.
On July 17, at around 08:45, the border and customs service of Tashkent Airport inspected the hand luggage of a passenger traveling on the Tashkent-Delhi route.
During the inspection, 4 undeclared round gold ingots with a total weight of 99 grams were found in the bag.
The seized gold was valued at 100 million UZS.
A preliminary investigation is being conducted regarding this incident.
