Kuwaiti company eyes to implement investment projects in Karshi
Representatives of the Kuwaiti company Gulf General Trading Co. Ltd. visited the city of Karshi.
During the visit, the delegation of the Kuwaiti company met with the Kashkadarya regional governor, Murodjon Azimov, and discussed the prospects for cooperation.
The governor informed about the reforms being carried out in the region and the favorable business environment being created.
During the meeting, investment projects in various fields, including the production of pharmaceutical products and medical services, were discussed.
Kuwaiti investors presented their proposals for launching the production of pharmaceutical products in the Kashkadarya region and creating modern medical laboratories that would allow early detection of disability, cancer, cardiovascular and diabetic diseases.
During the negotiations, the parties exchanged views on the creation of new jobs in the region as a result of the implementation of these projects, increasing the ability to provide local residents with quality medicines, as well as a number of practical measures aimed at increasing the efficiency of the overall healthcare system. It was noted that such projects are of great importance not only economically, but also socially.
Following the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on further development of cooperation.
For information, Gulf General Trading Co. Ltd. is one of the largest companies in Kuwait. It has branches in France, England and Germany. The head of the company and specialists visited Uzbekistan six times in May and August 2023, January, April, May and July 2024. This company is registered as a foreign enterprise in the Fergana region. During the visit of the Fergana regional governor, Khayrullo Bozorov, to Kuwait, an agreement was signed on the construction of a laboratory worth 1 million USD.
