Minimum passing score for university admission remains unchanged
In the 2024/2025 academic year, the average score for admission to higher education institutions remains unchanged – 56.7 points.
The minimum passing score for admission to higher education institutions for the 2024/2025 academic year has remained unchanged, according to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation.
Thus, the minimum passing score for a state grant with the corresponding state commission's conclusion is 68 points (36% of the maximum 189 points).
The minimum passing score for a contract is set at 56.7 points (30% of the maximum 189 points).
It is worth noting that almost half of the total number of applicants applying to higher education institutions in the republic this year did not achieve the minimum passing score for a contract.
According to data on the website mandat.uzbmb.uz, this year 345,869 (46.9%) applicants who took the entrance exams failed to score 56.7 points.
The number of applicants who scored more than 56.7 points is 391,482 (53.1%).
