President orders to replace heating system of 1 million households with an energy-saving one
On August 27, Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting to discuss the issues of ensuring energy efficiency and expanding the use of alternative energy sources.
It was noted at the meeting that at the beginning of this year, targets for saving electricity and natural gas were set in the regions. During the visit of the head of state to the Fergana region in July, the ways of implementing this plan twice as scientifically based were shown. It is noted that it is possible to save electricity consumption by equalizing the load on transformers in substations, installing reactive power batteries in the transformer serving water pumps. It is also possible to save gas by replacing the old "burner" in the apartment with an energy-saving one, insulating the heating system. In this way, the task was set to replace the heating system of 1 million apartments with an energy-saving one.
The head of state emphasized that only 25% of large consumers have installed modern gas-saving equipment, and emphasized that regional administrations and Energoinspektsia should deal with such issues. He gave an assignment on the installation of energy-saving technologies with scientific and technical bases in enterprises that are large gas consumers.
According to the presidential order, the inspection of control over the use of electricity, oil products and gas - Uzenergoinspeksiya was transferred to the Cabinet of Ministers. It is emphasized that this will increase his capabilities and work efficiency.
Another source of energy independence is electricity. In some provinces, the establishment of renewable energy systems has been successful. The relevant mutasaddis were strictly enforced.
- Establishing alternative energy sources is a state policy, - the president said.
At the meeting, regional governors, heads of energy sectors reported on the measures to save electricity and natural gas in the regions.
