Uzbekistan opens Honorary Consulate in Trabzon
On September 9, Uzbekistan opened an Honorary Consulate in the city of Trabzon, Türkiye.

According to a report from the Uzbek Embassy, the honorary consulate is located in front of the Trabzon Provincial Government (Representation) Building. So far, similar offices have been established in the provinces of Bursa, Adana, and Antalya.
The new Honorary Consulate aims not only to assist in protecting the rights and legitimate interests of citizens in the region but also to elevate trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation between Trabzon and various regions of Uzbekistan to a new level, the report said.
An Honorary Consulate is an office established with the goal of developing trade, cultural, and diplomatic relations between states.
