Futsal World Cup 2024: Uzbekistan loses to Paraguay
In the second round of the ongoing 2024 Futsal World Cup, the Uzbekistan national team lost to Paraguay.

The Paraguayan team scored two goals in the first half and extended their lead to 4-0 in the second half. In the 36th minute, Husniddin Nishonov managed to reduce the goal difference slightly, making it 1-4.
With this result, Paraguay secured their spot in the next round as group leaders with 6 points. Uzbekistan has 1 point, the Netherlands has 2 points, and Costa Rica also has 1 point.
José Venancio López's team will face Costa Rica on September 20 in the third round.
Uzbekistan still has a chance to advance to the next stage.
