Senate convenes on Wednesday to discuss reforms in armed forces, tax, and customs codes
The Senate of Uzbekistan will hold its 59th plenary session on Wednesday, October 23.
During the session, lawmakers will discuss proposed amendments to several key laws and codes related to telecommunications, the silk industry, the Armed Forces, and tax and customs regulations. The agenda also includes changes to the Tax Code, the Customs Code, the Criminal Procedure Code, and the Code of Administrative Responsibility.
Additionally, the Senate will review laws on the activities of the Ombudsman and law enforcement agencies. The ratification of several international agreements is also expected to be on the table for discussion.
The session aims to address legislative reforms in various sectors, ensuring alignment with ongoing national development and international commitments.
