Chinese investors to launch $200M industrial zone in Chirchiq
Chinese investors are set to establish a specialized industrial zone in Chirchiq, Uzbekistan, with construction scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2025.

The project, named "Two Regions, One Park," is spearheaded by China Construction Fifth Engineering Division Corp and BSM Group Limited. The industrial park, which was recently presented to the President of Uzbekistan, will host approximately 20 new enterprises across multiple sectors, including electrical engineering, textiles, construction materials, specialized machinery, and pharmaceuticals.
The planning phase, which includes design and budget documentation, is currently underway. Production at the industrial zone is expected to start by 2026.
With an investment exceeding $200 million across its initial two phases, the project will provide more than 1,000 new jobs, fostering economic growth and enhancing Uzbekistan’s industrial output.
