Starting November 17, flights will be operated weekly on Sundays, expanding travel options for passengers between Uzbekistan and Sri Lanka.
The Tashkent-Colombo flights will depart Tashkent at 2:40 a.m., arriving in Colombo at 9:10 a.m. local time. The return flight is scheduled to depart Colombo at 10:30 a.m., landing back in Tashkent at 3:40 p.m.
Ticket prices start at 3,121,755 UZS for a one-way journey, with round-trip fares beginning at 7,436,688 UZS.
This new route follows Centrum Air's acquisition of an Airbus A321neo aircraft in August. The aircraft, equipped with additional fuel tanks, enables flights covering distances of up to 7,000 kilometers, allowing for longer-haul flights like the new service to Colombo.
