Regular flights launched from Atyrau and Uralsk to Tashkent
Regular flights have been launched between the Kazakh cities of Atyrau and Uralsk and Tashkent, with airlines Uzbekistan Airways and Centrum Air operating the inaugural services on the Tashkent-Atyrau and Tashkent-Uralsk routes.
According to the Dunyo information agency, the new services have attracted significant interest from Kazakh tourism companies and the public, and they are expected to create new opportunities for Kazakhstan’s western regions.
Demand for travel to Uzbekistan remains high among residents of western Kazakhstan, particularly for tourism, including spa and wellness trips. These routes are expected to support growth in both mass tourism and premium travel markets.
Additionally, residents welcomed the opportunity to use Tashkent International Airport as a transit hub for onward international flights.
