Uzbekistan blocks nearly 30 gambling promotion websites
The Competition Committee has announced the blocking of nearly 30 websites promoting gambling and betting services, as part of ongoing efforts to curb online platforms that encourage risky and speculative activities.

According to the committee, a total of 42 websites were identified as violating regulations by advertising gambling services. Proposals for their blockage were submitted to the Agency for Information and Mass Communications (AIMC), resulting in nearly 30 of these sites being blocked in accordance with established procedures.
The Competition Committee emphasized that systematic monitoring of websites in this sector is continuing to ensure compliance with Uzbekistanās legal framework and to protect citizens from potential harm associated with gambling and betting.
