Uzbekistan Airways announces 50% discount for students on domestic flights

Uzbekistan Airways has introduced a special discount of up to 50% on economy-class tickets for students traveling on domestic routes. The initiative aims to make air travel more accessible for students during the holiday season.

According to the airline’s press service, the discount applies to students enrolled in state educational institutions who can provide valid proof of enrollment. The discounted fares are available for flights scheduled between December 23, 2024, and January 7, 2025.

Students can purchase tickets with a discount through the Uzbekistan Airways Sales branch in Tashkent, authorized agents, or the official website at booking.uzairways.com. However, the airline clarified that the discount does not extend to additional charges such as taxes, fees, and other surcharges.

In addition to this offer, extra Afrosiyob high-speed train services have been planned for December and January to accommodate increased travel demand between Tashkent and Samarkand. These additional trains will operate on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between December 15 and December 31, 2024, as well as from January 3 to January 12, 2025.
