Tashkent metro rewards its one-millionth passenger with free travel for a year
Tashkent metro served one million passengers in a single day, marking a milestone in its operations. The lucky commuter was identified during a special event organized by metro officials to celebrate the occasion.
According to the press service of “Toshkent Metropoliteni”, the metro continues to see significant passenger growth, with the one-million mark reached recently. To honor the achievement, metro representatives held a celebratory event to identify and reward the one-millionth user.
The fortunate passenger received a special transport card, granting free unlimited access to public transportation for an entire year, along with a commemorative gift from Tashkent metro.
“I was on my usual commute to work via the Chinor route. This was completely unexpected for me,” the lucky passenger shared during the event.
