Uzbekistan approves state budget for 2025
The Law on the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2025 has been adopted, regulating the formation and implementation of the country's consolidated budget for the year.
The maximum amounts of budget allocations from the republican budget to the first-level budget fund distributors have been approved for 2025.
The budget funds allocated from the republican budget to the first-level budget fund distributors will only be used during the 2025 fiscal year and will not be carried over to the next fiscal year.
The maximum deficit of the consolidated budget for Uzbekistan for 2025 has been set at 3% of the gross domestic product.
The following have been approved for 2025:
- The minimum rental payment rates for physical and legal persons who lease property;
- The maximum rates for duties on the right to retail certain types of goods;
- The rates for duties on foreign vehicles entering Uzbekistan and transiting through its territory.
The law will come into effect on January 1, 2025.
