Global Firepower: Uzbekistan’s army ranks 58th in the world
Uzbekistan has secured 58th place among the world's strongest armies, according to the Global Firepower ranking.
Among Central Asian countries, Uzbekistan is in second place, trailing only Kazakhstan, which ranked 57th in the global ranking. Turkmenistan is positioned at 77th, Kyrgyzstan at 105th, and Tajikistan at 108th.
The report by the American analytical company evaluated 145 countries in total. The strength of their armies was assessed based on 60 criteria, including the number of military units and human resources, financial standing, technological development, geographic location, and mobility.
The United States remains the leader of the ranking, while Bhutan occupies the last position.
