Uzbekistan and UAE advance strategic partnership with high-level talks in Abu Dhabi
Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held key meetings during his visit to Abu Dhabi, emphasizing the growing strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In a meeting with Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Saidov expressed gratitude for the UAE government’s steadfast support in enhancing bilateral cooperation. “It was a pleasure to meet His Excellency Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior,” Saidov wrote on his Telegram channel. “We discussed several key partnership topics and focused on creating the most favorable conditions for the citizens of both nations.”
In a separate meeting, Saidov engaged in discussions with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. This dialogue took place in the context of preparations for the upcoming official visit of Uzbekistan’s President to the UAE.
“Our productive meeting with His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan underlined the strengthening of Uzbek-Emirati close partnership,” Saidov remarked. “We covered the most pressing issues of bilateral and multilateral relations and reviewed plans for 2025.”
