According to the statement, UzGasTrade JSC has issued a warning about a drop in pressure in the main gas pipelines due to emergency repair works being carried out on the pipelines.
In this regard, priority has been given to supplying natural gas to residential households and social sector facilities. As a result, on February 3, restrictions were imposed on some wholesale consumers.
"The emergency situation has now been resolved, and gas supply is being gradually restored," the statement said.
For reference, UzGasTrade is the sole state operator responsible for centrally purchasing natural gas from domestic producers at prices approved by the Interdepartmental Tariff Commission, as well as through imports from external sources.
