Police arrest criminal gang after violent home invasion in Kashkadarya
Masked criminals broke into a house in Karshi district, injuring the residents and stealing gold jewelry.

A criminal gang responsible for a robbery in Kashkadarya region has been arrested, with authorities confirming their involvement in a previous crime, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs' press service.
According to the report, at around 4:00 AM in the Alisher Navoi neighborhood of Karshi district, three masked individuals climbed over a wall and entered a residential property. They attacked the homeowner, his wife, and their son, inflicting injuries.
The gang demanded money and took gold jewelry from a wardrobe before fleeing the scene.
"I sensed that the door had been opened. When I saw the curtain move and the flashlight beam, I woke up. As I walked toward the door, a masked man barged in and covered my mouth," said the female victim.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 164 of the Criminal Code (Robbery). Investigative efforts revealed that the suspects used a Nexia-2 vehicle without license plates to flee the crime scene.
One suspect has been identified and detained. Additionally, an individual who provided information about the victim to the gang has also been arrested. Further investigation confirmed that this group was also involved in another robbery committed on November 26, 2024, in Karshi district.
A 40-year-old resident of Karshi city who participated in the crime has also been taken into custody.
