Uzbekistan imports over half a million mobile phones in just two months
China still remains the major exporter of mobile phones to Uzbekistan.
According to the latest data from the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan imported 552,649 mobile phones from abroad during the first two months of 2025, with a total value of approximately $60 million.
During the reporting period, Uzbekistan imported mobile phones mainly from the following countries:
- China: 404,185 units
- Vietnam: 129,589 units
- India: 14,269 units
- UAE: 4,428 units
- Other countries: 178 units
In 2024, Uzbekistan imported 4.2 million mobile phones worth $374.5 million. 3.4 million of the imported phones came from China.
