Over 1.5 million citizens of Uzbekistan traveled abroad for tourism in Q1 2025
According to the National Statistics Committee, more than 1.5 million citizens of Uzbekistan traveled abroad for tourism purposes between January and March 2025.
The figure shows an increase of 256,500 people, or 20.3%, compared to the same period last year.
During the first quarter of 2025, the purposes of international travel by Uzbek citizens were as follows:
- Visiting relatives – 1,189,827 people
- Leisure/tourism – 307,199 people
- Medical treatment – 11,764 people
- Education – 7,437 people
- Business trips – 3,320 people
