Uzbekistan’s new embassy building opens in Baku
A ceremonial opening of the new building of Uzbekistan's Embassy in Baku took place with the participation of Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Ilham Aliyev.

The two leaders cut a symbolic ribbon and officially inaugurated the new premises of the diplomatic mission, according to the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.
During the visit, the heads of state familiarized themselves with the conditions created for the effective work of the diplomatic staff, aimed at further strengthening the strategic partnership and alliance between the two nations.

The embassy’s halls have been named after regions of Uzbekistan. As a symbol of friendship and solidarity between the peoples of both countries, President Mirziyoyev proposed naming one of the halls in honor of Karabakh.
At the conclusion of the event, both presidents signed the embassy’s Guest of Honor Book, leaving commemorative messages and best wishes.
