Airbus to help Uzbekistan train civil aviation pilots
Airbus, the European aerospace manufacturer, will begin training pilots for Uzbekistan through a specialized program developed in partnership with the Tashkent State Transport University.
According to the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade, negotiations were held on July 28 between Minister Laziz Kudratov and Johan Pelissier, Airbus President for Europe.
The parties discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in civil aviation, including fleet modernization and efforts to boost tourism.

A key outcome of the meeting was the agreement to establish a joint pilot training program based at the Tashkent State Transport University, developed in collaboration with Airbus.
