Admission tests for universities and vocational colleges to start on July 14
Entrance examinations for admission to Uzbekistan's state higher and vocational education institutions for the 2026–2027 academic year will take place from July 14 to July 23.
The Agency for the Assessment of Knowledge and Qualifications has announced that the testing campaign will run for 10 days, with examinations held in two daily sessions. The morning session will begin at 08:00, while the afternoon session will start at 15:00. Applicants have been instructed to arrive at their designated test venue at least one and a half hours before the start of the exam.
The agency has also begun issuing admission permits to applicants who completed online registration. Candidates can download and print their permits from their personal accounts on the agency's online portal.
Applicants will only be allowed to take the exam at the venue, on the date and during the session specified on their admission permit. They will not be permitted to sit the test at any other location or time.
Candidates must bring the original copy of their passport or ID card, along with a printed admission permit. Those arriving with photocopies or other forms of identification, as well as applicants who arrive late, will not be admitted to the examination.
According to the agency, 677,907 applicants completed online registration for the 2026–2027 admission campaign, with 664,609 expected to sit the entrance examinations. Of those, 365,196 applicants, or 53.9%, are women, while 312,711, or 46.1%, are men.
A total of 64 large-capacity indoor venues have been prepared for this year's examinations. Each session will accommodate 35,490 applicants divided into 1,183 groups, allowing up to 70,980 candidates to take the tests each day.
