Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulates Zelensky on Ukraine’s Independence Day
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day.
The President of Ukraine published the congratulatory letter from the Uzbek leader on his X page.
“On behalf of myself and the people of Uzbekistan, I sincerely congratulate you and the entire Ukrainian people on your national holiday – Independence Day. I am confident that the ties between our states, based on traditional friendship and long-term principles of cooperation, will continue to develop in the interests of our peoples.
“Taking this opportunity, I wish you good health, family happiness, and success in your responsible work, and I wish the Ukrainian people peace, stability, and prosperity,” the message reads.

In turn, the President of Ukraine expressed gratitude to Shavkat Mirziyoyev for his congratulations.
“I am confident that our countries will continue to develop productive cooperation and strengthen bilateral relations for the prosperity of the friendly peoples of Ukraine and Uzbekistan,” Volodymyr Zelensky wrote.
