Uzbekistan national team to face Uruguay in friendly match

The Uzbekistan national football team, currently competing in the Cafa Nations Cup and preparing for the World Cup qualifiers, will play a friendly match against Uruguay in October, the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) press service reported.

According to the announcement, the match will take place on neutral ground in Kuala Lumpur on October 13.

For reference, Uzbekistan has previously played Uruguay three times – two friendlies and one match within the China Cup. Uruguay won all three encounters.
