UzAuto Motors plans to release 8 new models

“Fifteen years ago, when I worked here, the situation was completely different. Now the market has become much more diversified. Chinese and Korean cars, as well as new brands and models, are emerging. This competition creates challenges for us, but it benefits consumers,” Kovács noted.
The CEO also stressed that competition is intensifying not only in Uzbekistan’s domestic market but also in export destinations, while demand for electric vehicles continues to grow.
“Competition is rising not only inside the country but also abroad – for example, in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and other states. Every company is fighting for customers. That is why we must also adjust our strategy and be ready to compete with companies such as BYD, Kia, Hyundai, and Haval. This is a serious challenge for us,” he said.
According to Kovács, UzAuto Motors intends to expand its model lineup in the coming years, with particular attention to the SUV segment.
