The Central Bank has published inflation indicators for August 2025.

Annual inflation stood at 12.3 percent in 2022, then eased to 8.8 percent in 2023. It rose slightly to 9.8 percent in 2024, but dropped again to 8.8 percent as of August 2025.

The share of goods and services whose prices increased by more than 10 percent declined over the years:

  • 52 percent in 2022
  • 25 percent in 2023
  • 22 percent in 2024
  • 18 percent in 2025

This trend reflects overall easing inflationary pressures and a decline in the number of “high-inflation” items, compared to the price shocks of previous years.
