Uzbekistan and Albania set to boost political dialogue and economic interaction
On 23 September, on the sidelines of the UN High-Level Week, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held talks with President of Albania Bajram Begaj.

According to the presidential press service, the parties discussed ways to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
Both sides expressed interest in taking bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level, including through the creation of mechanisms for political dialogue and economic cooperation.
The importance of unlocking the potential of trade and investment ties was highlighted, along with the implementation of joint projects in areas such as agriculture and the food industry, transport, and others.
The parties also exchanged views on regional and international issues.
