Chinese investors are preparing to implement two more large-scale projects in Fergana region, the regional administration reported.

Governor Khayrullo Bozorov held talks with several delegations from China. The head of Fergana Khan’s Blood Baoma Machinery Engineering provided updates on the construction of an agricultural machinery plant in Kuvasay.

The guests also presented proposals in the field of medicine, specifically to establish the production of pharmaceuticals that meet international standards using local raw materials. Plans call for the manufacture of more than 130 drugs, including hemostatic agents.

Bozorov supported the initiative and proposed creating a dedicated pharmaceutical cluster with laboratories. He also expressed readiness to cooperate in building housing and infrastructure for the project.

In addition, Bozorov met with Liu Hui, chairman of the board of Chengli Group. The company, which produces special machinery for construction, utilities, firefighting, and industry, proposed setting up the production of certain equipment types in Fergana.

Yan Dewen, director of Jiangsu Lifan Machinery Co. Ltd, discussed with the governor projects to manufacture solar panels, smart meters, water filters, and pumps. He stressed the importance of implementing these projects as soon as possible while ensuring product quality and compliance with modern standards.

Talks with representatives of Xinjiang Xingchuan New Energy focused on building a wind power plant in Besharyk district, for which commercial proposals have already been prepared.
