Uzbekistan’s tourism service exports exceed $3.6 billion over nine months
Uzbekistan’s inbound tourism has reached historic levels, with the country receiving more than one million foreign visitors each month since April 2025, according to the Tourism Committee.
In total, 8.6 million foreign tourists visited Uzbekistan in the first nine months of this year – an increase of 112.5% compared to the same period in 2024.
A breakdown by country shows that, compared to the post-pandemic year of 2022, the number of tourists from several destinations has grown significantly in 2025:
– Qatar – up 6.2 times;
– Poland – up 6.2 times;
– Hungary – up 3.3 times;
– United States – up 3 times;
– France – up 2.9 times;
– United Kingdom – up 2.6 times;
– Germany – up 2.5 times;
– Russia – up 2.1 times.
Tourism service exports have also reached a record high this year, exceeding $3.6 billion.
Earlier reports indicated that around 5.3 million foreign citizens entered Uzbekistan in the first half of the year – a 48.9% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
