Uzbek national Kamila Mahmudova to join Raiffeisen Bank International’s management board as CFO

Kamila Mahmudova has been appointed chief financial officer (CFO) of Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI), one of Europe’s largest financial groups. Since 2021, she has served as CFO of the bank’s Czech branch.

The Supervisory Board of Raiffeisen Bank International has appointed Kamila Mahmudova as CFO and member of the Management Board effective from 1 January 2026. Mahmudova has been working as CFO of Raiffeisen Bank’s Czech subsidiary since 2021.

Mahmudova, who hails from Uzbekistan, has more than 20 years of experience in the financial sector. She graduated from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in 1997 and continued her studies at Illinois College (USA), Vienna University of Economics and Business (Austria), Carlson School of Management (USA), and Harvard Business School (USA).

Over the course of her career, she worked at the State Committee for State Property of Uzbekistan from 1999 to 2001 and at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) from 2001 to 2007. Mahmudova joined RBI in 2007 and led the bank’s Corporate Development and Strategic Management division from 2019 until the end of 2021.

For reference, Raiffeisen Bank International is one of Austria’s largest banking groups, serving more than 18 million customers across 11 countries in Central and Eastern Europe. As of June 2025, the bank’s total assets were valued at €204 billion.
