Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover reaches $59.8 billion in nine months
The National Statistics Committee has published a list of countries accounting for the largest share of Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover.
According to the committee, Uzbekistan’s FTT reached $59.8 billion between January and September this year, increasing by $11.1 billion, or 22.9 percent, compared to the same period last year.
In September alone, the volume of foreign trade rose by $8.4 billion. Between January and August, the figure stood at $51.4 billion.
Since the beginning of the year, exports have amounted to $26.7 billion – up by 33.3 percent – while imports totaled $33.1 billion, marking a 15.6 percent rise.
Uzbekistan’s foreign trade partners now number 206 countries. The largest shares of trade turnover were with China (19.1%), Russia (15.7%), Kazakhstan (5.8%), Turkey (3.6%), and the Republic of Korea (2.2%).
