Migration Agency revokes licenses of two private employment firms
There are currently 37 licensed employment companies operating in Uzbekistan, more than two-thirds of which are based in Tashkent.
The Agency for External Labor Migration has announced the cancellation of the license previously issued to the private employment agency Mirai Recruitment.
According to the agency, the license was annulled at the company’s own request. The firm, headquartered in Fergana, received its license to facilitate overseas employment for Uzbek citizens in February 2019.
In addition, the agency revoked the license of Westbridge, a private employment firm from Bukhara, also upon the company’s request.
At present, Uzbekistan has 37 licensed private employment companies. Of these, 26 operate in the capital, five in Samarkand, two in Namangan, and one each in Bukhara, Karshi, Andijan, and Angren.
