During the discussions, senior U.S. officials commended the rapid pace and depth of reforms implemented in Uzbekistan under President Shavkat Mirziyoyev over the past eight years.

“We paid particular attention to the growing opportunities in trade between our countries and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the area of public safety,” Mirziyoyeva stated.

According to her, such meetings allow both sides to better understand and realize their potential.

“Indeed, thanks to its openness policy, our country is increasingly attracting new partners to implement joint projects in education, culture, economy, and many other areas,” she concluded.
