Saida Mirziyoyeva discusses trade and security cooperation with U.S. envoy
Saida Mirziyoyeva, Chief of the Presidential Administration, held talks with a high-level U.S. delegation led by Sergio Gor, the U.S. President’s Special Envoy for South and Central Asia, and Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau. The meeting focused on expanding trade opportunities and enhancing collaboration in public safety.
During the discussions, senior U.S. officials commended the rapid pace and depth of reforms implemented in Uzbekistan under President Shavkat Mirziyoyev over the past eight years.
“We paid particular attention to the growing opportunities in trade between our countries and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the area of public safety,” Mirziyoyeva stated.
According to her, such meetings allow both sides to better understand and realize their potential.
“Indeed, thanks to its openness policy, our country is increasingly attracting new partners to implement joint projects in education, culture, economy, and many other areas,” she concluded.
