Tax revenues from foreign digital services in Uzbekistan up 44% year-on-year
From January to September 2025, 73 foreign companies providing electronic services in Uzbekistan paid a total of UZS 124.8 billion in taxes.
According to the State Tax Committee (STC), this represents a 44% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
The committee noted that 93% of the total amount came from ten major foreign companies providing electronic services:
- Meta – UZS 35.2 billion
- Apple – UZS 35.1 billion
- Google – UZS 31.2 billion
- OpenAI – UZS 4.7 billion
- Booking.com – UZS 2.9 billion
- TikTok – UZS 2.6 billion
- Netflix – UZS 1.3 billion
- Acca – UZS 1.1 billion
- Zoom – UZS 1.1 billion
- Amazon – UZS 1.1 billion
Under Article 281 of Uzbekistan’s Tax Code, foreign legal entities providing electronic services must submit tax reports and pay taxes no later than the 20th day of the month following the reporting quarter.
