Uzbekistan edge Croatia on penalties to reach U-17 World Cup last 16
Uzbekistan’s U-17 national team defeated Croatia in a penalty shootout to secure a place in the round of 16 at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar.

The round of 32 match between Uzbekistan U-17 and Croatia U-17 ended in a 1–1 draw in regular time. Sadriddin Khasanov opened the scoring in the 24th minute, while Tino Kusanović equalized for Croatia in the 80th minute.
With the match level after full time, the winner was decided by a penalty shootout, in which the Uzbek side prevailed 4–3.
Head coach Islombek Ismoilov’s team will now face Italy U-17 in the round of 16. The match will take place on 18 November.
