Uzbekistan sees strong growth in inbound tourism in first nine months of 2025
According to the National Statistics Committee, nearly 1.4 million foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes in January–September 2025.
This represents an increase of almost 506,000 visitors compared with the same period last year, the committee noted.
The largest number of tourists came from Russia (269,158), Turkmenistan (193,635), Kazakhstan (143,898), China (117,864) and Kyrgyzstan (114,005), together accounting for more than half of all arrivals.
The top ten list also included Tajikistan (84,696), Turkey (50,976), Italy (32,635), India (32,254) and Germany (29,632).
Additionally, South Korea and the United States contributed 26,832 and 23,630 visitors respectively, while 255,855 tourists arrived from other countries.
