These articles provide for liability for establishing, leading or participating in prohibited religious extremist, separatist or fundamentalist organizations, as well as for unlawfully producing, storing, importing or distributing materials of a religious nature.
It was reported that operational search activities to locate and detain B.A. began in May 2024 and were carried out in cooperation between relevant Uzbek law enforcement agencies and the competent US authorities.
As a result of the measures taken, B.A. was detained in early November this year in the United States.
