According to the ministry, entrepreneurs and citizens have been receiving fraudulent emails purportedly sent on behalf of the ministry, disguised as notifications regarding enforcement proceedings.
It was stressed that such emails have no connection whatsoever to the Ministry of Justice and are entirely fake.
Links and QR codes contained in these messages may redirect users to fraudulent websites that steal personal information.
Earlier, it was reported that fake information was being disseminated on Telegram under the name of the director of the Uzbek Agency for Archival Affairs. Fraudsters had created fake profiles using the official’s name and were issuing various instructions.
In another case, a fake website was created on the internet claiming that Uzbek citizens were eligible to receive compensation of up to UZS 100 million. It was clarified that these claims do not correspond to reality.
