Uzbekistan Airways flight to Vladivostok makes emergency landing in Krasnoyarsk
An Uzbekistan Airways aircraft operating a scheduled flight from Tashkent to Vladivostok made an emergency landing in Russia’s Krasnoyarsk due to a technical issue.
The Boeing 767-300, operating flight HY707, landed at Krasnoyarsk Airport at 12:46 p.m. Tashkent time on 21 January after the flight crew decided to divert the aircraft for technical reasons. The landing was carried out in accordance with established safety procedures.
There were 122 passengers and crew members on board at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported.
“All emergency services at Krasnoyarsk Airport were immediately placed on full alert. The aircraft landed safely and in line with standard safety protocols,” the airport’s press service said in a statement.
Uzbekistan Airways confirmed the incident and said additional information regarding the continuation and timing of flights HY707 and HY708 would be provided later.
