The citizen reportedly sought help from the diplomatic mission due to document-related issues and severe financial hardship, which left him unable to return home independently, Dunyo reported.
Embassy officials promptly took the necessary measures to arrange the individual’s return to Uzbekistan. In cooperation with Iran’s relevant authorities, an exit visa was issued to enable the citizen to leave the country legally.
In addition, the embassy held negotiations with Iran’s Zagros Air airline, resulting in the purchase of an airline ticket for the direct Tehran–Tashkent flight on preferential terms.
Thanks to the practical assistance provided by the diplomatic mission, the Uzbek citizen was returned home safely.
