How to pay less for public transport in Tashkent
Public transport is one of the cheapest ways to get around the city. It will help you save time, energy and money. Some people use it occasionally. Others take the subway and buses every day. You can pay for your trip with a bank card, an ATTO transport card, or a payment app. Some options let you spend less. Here is what is available today.

What banks and payment services offer
You can pay less for travel with a Visa card from Uzum, physical Visa cards from Ipak Yuli, or with a Payme plus subscription.
Below are the conditions and how the benefit is returned.
Uzum VISA
With Uzum Visa, you get 1 050 sum cashback for each ride, up to 40 times a month. To activate the offer, make five purchases with the card first. Transport, installments, and microloans do not count. Then check your balance at an ATM.
Physical Visa cards from Ipak Yuli Bank
The offer starts as soon as you get the card. When you pay for transport, only 990 sum is charged. You can apply for the card online, and delivery is free. Here are the current conditions to get the card:
Payme Plus subscription
Payme Plus gives 1% cashback on more than 90% of payments. That covers about 3 500 stores and services. In total, including cashback for transport, this can save you around 70 000 sum per month.

If you use public transport regularly, more than 3 times a day, ATTO card fares may be suitable for you.
ATTO — is a transport payment operator. It also produces a series of transport cards.
The cost of fares depends on the city, the type of card, the choice of transport and the duration of the fare: for a day, month, year. There are 4 types of passenger cards:

You can get the cards at these prices:
- 16 000 sum — at post offices
- 20 000 sum — at metro ticket offices (General Public card only)
- Or open a virtual card for free in the app and pay by phone
To get a reduced-fare card, show a document such as a pension certificate, a student ID, or a certificate from your school or university.
