Direct Tashkent – Atyrau flights to begin in late March
A presentation ceremony dedicated to the launch of a new air route between Tashkent and Atyrau was held in the Kazakh city of Atyrau.

According to Dunyo, the event brought together representatives of the Atyrau Region Akimat, the management of Atyrau International Airport, local business circles, as well as more than 60 leading travel companies and hotels.
The central focus of the presentation was the launch of direct flights on the Tashkent – Atyrau – Tashkent route. The first flights are scheduled for March 30 and April 3 of this year. According to specialists, the new air connection will provide residents of western regions of Kazakhstan with a convenient and efficient opportunity to travel to the historic cities of Uzbekistan.
Representatives of Uzbekistan Airways and Asialuxe Travel briefed participants in detail on special tourism packages to Uzbekistan, opportunities in medical tourism and transit travel options.
Special attention was paid to Uzbekistan’s gastronomic tourism potential, which has been gaining increasing international recognition. Participants were also introduced to large scale cultural and tourism events planned to coincide with the inaugural flights.
Following the meeting, representatives of the tourism sectors of both countries agreed to further expand cooperation, systematically increase tourist flows and implement joint tourism initiatives.
